Common Qs & As

I'm amenorrheic — why not a urine or saliva test?

Great question! We do recommend saliva testing, and urine testing — but for when you have a true cycle (even if it's short or long).

If you have an irregular period or no period, we can use one simple blood draw as a snapshot to help us understand perhaps why your period is irregular and where in that moment your body was in a potential cycle. This allows us to give you the best guidance for whatever your particular goals are (usually getting it back).

Then, once you have your period again, if it's necessary, you could test again with saliva and/or urine testing to further optimize your cycle (say you have frustrating symptoms, or fertility goals).

That second test would be our Cycling Hormone Test — so we can really see the ebb and flow of your hormones across the entire cycle. This data will then help us optimize what your body is finally doing

If you have a regular cycle, you should 100% leave this page and head over to our Cycling Hormone Test which will give you 11 data points across that period so you and your practitioner can improve your period, symptoms, and fertility odds.

I'm in perimenopause — is this for me?

Great question! If you have a true cycle, no.

If you do not have a true cycle (efined as consistently every 28-39 days, even if very different in length, bleeding, symptoms) — then yes, this is for you. Maybe they're very spaced out, or it goes and comes for months.

Please note, this is for women that are not on HRT. If you are on HRT, please go here.

If you haven't hit 12 months of no period, but things are "wonky" — this test can give you an early sense of why...are you truly nearing menopause or is your body really struggling with a particular part of the cycle?

If you identify with the above and this test is for you, this test can help your practitioner know which lifestyle changes and supplements to recommend to improve your periods, and combined, this information and those improved periods can help you know when to test a full cycle with a saliva test, if and when you get one.

The saliva test we mention is our Cycling Hormone Test — it lets us really see the ebb and flow of your hormones across the entire cycle. But we don't recommend it right away if your period is barely there. It requires a bit of time, it s little more money, and we want to use a blood test, supplements, and life style change depending on your goals to have a stronger period to test.

If you have a regular cycle, you should 100% leave this page and head over to our Cycling Hormone Test which will give you 11 data points across that period so you and your practitioner can improve your period, symptoms, and fertility odds.

I'm on HRT, is this test for me?

Nope! Head here.

There's no LabCorp near me, can I go to Quest?

Please contact us for a check out link for Quest testing — we are still integrating this, but yes, it is possible.

I want to invest in my health

Why this Matters

You're only as healthy as the tools in your tool belt — this includes knowledge

Our mission at Sunnyside well is to make functional health affordable and accessible. We do this by making as much self-serve as possible, especially where there is no harm to the client. Our comprehensive blood test has more markers that matter than most doctors will order for you. And, it comes with a guide to help you understand it and take control of your health.

There are things you can learn and implement on your own time to feel better

You shouldn't always have to schedule an appointment, take off from work, or be available during working hours to work on improving your health. Our guide allows you to work on your health when you have time. It's great for busy moms, night shift workers, anyone really.

Test don't guess — rely on the data instead of buying random supplements and products

If you're the person who spends $50-100/month (or more) on random health foods and supplements not knowing if they actually make a difference or if they're truly what your body needs, this test is a great place to invest in your health — so you know what your body does need.

Hormones also impact

your energy, mood, libido

skin, sleep, immune system

More common Qs & As

Do I need to fast for this test?

Nope!

Can I drink water before the test?

Yes, you should regularly hydrate the day before and after — drink water like you normally would.

Can I share the guide?

You are welcome to share the guide that comes with your test with immediate friends and family. Our goal is to help people be healthy, and to be a resource. We hope when you share this guide people in your life will learn about us and remember us if they ever need health guidance beyond our self-serve products.

I shared the guide with a friend and their blood work from another doctor is missing markers

Yes, this is common — that's why the panel we offer provides exactly what you need.

However, if they're on HRT, that could be why. Or, if they have a predictable period, it may have just been a routine check.

How many markers are tested?

10 total

Is this panel available outside of the United States?

Not right now, but we are working to have an equivalent option in 202

NY, NJ or RI clients...

Due to your state's legislation, for the bloodwork component of this package, you will have to travel to a Labcorp in a nearby state. If you're able to go to CT, PA, or MA, that's what we recommend (day trip or timed with a worktrip or weekend getaway, etc).

If you check out with a NY, NJ, or RI address, we will be in touch.
