Why these tests, together?
We can gently support you with a GI Map result and protocol, but if you've had chronic symptoms and are 30 or older, we often want to see from bloodwork how your liver is doing as we address your gut. We also want to make sure you have the data on your heart, thyroid, and kidneys — is there anything to watch for? What can we optimize now? And so. much. more.
Understanding your health shouldn't require:
-
Crazy amounts of money
-
Dozens of appointments
-
Tons of pharmaceuticals
-
Hours lost in waiting rooms
-
Hearing a doctor tell you nothing's wrong
-
Trying every ad across a decade
Find out if your homeostasis has changed
After major life events, your body adjusts — think pregnancy, surgery, major life stressors. Monitor to stay on top of your health.
Understand what patterns you're at risk for
Our guide helps you connect the dots between markers.
Know if your doctor is under explaining your health
Everything is a spectrum — conventional medicine tends to wait until there's a diagnosis, but you can reverse patterns if you know they're there.
Nearly 1,000 Feeling Great
Over the last five years, we have helped hundreds of individuals better understand and optimize their health.
What's included:
- One GI Map & one Labcorp blood test with 70 markers
- The meaning of each blood marker and how markers related, patterns to watch out for, functional ranges for each marker
- Option to add on a protocol &/or consult
Test Results → Better Health
These two tests will help you understand so much about your body. Blood test results are delivered in 3-5 days while the GI Map usually takes a bit longer. Once you have results you can interpret your blood test with our comprehensive guide which includes functional ranges for each marker, marker significance and meaning, and options for addressing any markers you have concerns about. If your GI Map findings are concerning, you can order a protocol and book a consult if you'd like.
Why this Matters
You're only as healthy as the tools in your tool belt — this includes knowledge
Our mission at Sunnyside well is to make functional health affordable and accessible. We do this by making as much self-serve as possible, especially where there is no harm to the client. Our comprehensive blood test has more markers that matter than most doctors will order for you. And, it comes with a guide to help you understand it and take control of your health.
There are things you can learn and implement on your own time to feel better
You shouldn't always have to schedule an appointment, take off from work, or be available during working hours to work on improving your health. Our guide allows you to work on your health when you have time. It's great for busy moms, night shift workers, anyone really.
If money is an issue start with just the tests and free guide, then schedule a protocol and consultation if you need us; or use ShopPay and do it all now
If the majority of your marker results look good, you probably don't need us and the suggestions in our guide will serve you well.
But if you come across a pattern or are confused about something you're welcome to schedule a consult with us.
If your GI Map has a lot to address (we'll let you know when we email you), you can always add an interpretation with a protocol and a consult. But more often than not, if you have symptoms, there will be some things to address with your GI Map.
Test don't guess — rely on the data instead of buying random supplements and products
If you're the person who spends $50-100/month (or more) on random health foods and supplements not knowing if they actually make a difference or if they're truly what your body needs, this test is a great place to invest in your health — so you know what your body does need.
Monitor your Apolipoproteins for heart health
Help your parents improve the quality of their years
Finally understand how your thyroid is doing
More common Qs & As
Do I need to fast for this test?
Yes. Therefore, try to arrive for your blood draw before you need to have your first meal.
Can I drink water before the test?
Yes, you should regularly hydrate the day before and after — drink water like you normally would.
Can I share the guide?
You are welcome to share the guide that comes with your test with immediate friends and family. Our goal is to help people be healthy, and to be a resource. We hope when you share this guide people in your life will learn about us and remember us if they ever need health guidance beyond our self-serve products.
I shared the guide with a friend and their blood work from another doctor is missing markers
Yes, this is common — that's why the panel we offer provides more important markers, especially for cardiovascular, blood sugar, and inflammation health. Your friend can order a panel here on this page when they're ready to have their blood work done again.
How many markers are tested?
70 + 4 ratios; and if you want to add something, you can contact us and we'll submit a special order for you...think extra cardio or blood sugar markers, or maybe an autoimmune or mold panel
How do you compare to Superhuman or Function Health?
1. We run a little less markers (reflected in our price, over $100 cheaper & cheaper per marker) — we find unless you have a preexisting condition, usually the markers we have chosen are enough to understand what is going on inside your body and how to plan an approach to tackle it
2. Our guide is more comprehensive — and it includes what to do, not just an explanation of your results. Many Function customers actually come to us for a consult to better understand their results and how to address them
3. You can always buy a consult with us if you need it — if you don't, you've saved money. If you do, you would have sought out support either way.
4. If there's a marker you want that's not on the list...there's high odds we can order if for you as an add on — just contact us.
Check in on your health, so there's no "what ifs"
NY, NJ or RI clients...
Due to your state's legislation, for the bloodwork component of this package, you will have to travel to a Labcorp in a nearby state. If you're able to go to CT, PA, or MA, that's what we recommend (day trip or timed with a worktrip or weekend getaway, etc).
If you check out with a NY, NJ, or RI address, we will be in touch.
